Options for Invisalign and Treatment
With most companies, coverage for orthodontic treatment is typically a separate benefit under dental insurance. According to the Canadian Association of Orthodontists (CAO), coverage for orthodontic treatment such as Invisalign, is often reimbursed at 50%, up to a maximum dollar amount.
Orthodontic coverage is orthodontic coverage – so it makes no difference what appliance is used as long as it is an orthodontic appliance. Therefore, if you have orthodontic insurance then your Invisalign treatment would be eligible for insurance coverage.
