How Does it Work?
The professional-grade whitening has been designed to be used with your Invisalign aligners.
Preparation: make sure not to use your professional whitening system during the first two days of a new aligner set, due to sensitivity.
1. Load the tray with the gel one-quarter to one third of the height, from one cheek-side of the tray to the other.
2. Insert the tray in front of a mirror and check for any displaced gel outside of the tray. Wipe the gel away – do not swallow.
*Wear the Opalescence PF 10% Mint whitening gel for 8-10 hours or overnight, or as directed by the Walt Orthodontics team.*
3. At the completion, remove the tray, rinse and brush the gel from the teeth (do not swallow).
4. Clean the tray with a toothbrush and water after use and store in a dry container.
In-Office Whitening
For those patients seeking a quicker way to achieve white teeth, we office in-office Zoom Whitening. The whole procedure takes about 1-2 hours and you will instantly see a change of up to 8 shades. There are certain criteria we evaluate to see if you are a good candidate, so feel free to chat with us about it at your next appointment.
