In an era where technology is rapidly transforming healthcare, Walt Orthodontics stands at the forefront of this revolution. As we salute Cyber Monday, it’s the perfect time to highlight how our practice in Vaughan is embracing digital advancements to enhance patient care and experience.

Our Digital Orthodontic Experience

We pride ourselves on investing in the latest technology, touching nearly every area of our practice. This commitment ensures faster treatment times, fewer appointments, and better, bespoke treatment outcomes. Here’s a glimpse into our digital offerings:

1. Virtual Consultations & Appointments

Recognizing the busy schedules of our patients, we offer virtual consultations and appointments. This approach allows for a flexible and efficient start to your orthodontic journey, saving you time and providing convenience without compromising on quality care.

2. iTero® Impressionless 3D Scanning

Since 2017, we have embraced impressionless 3D scanning for all treatments, including Invisalign®, custom braces, appliances, and retainers. This technology not only enhances comfort by eliminating the need for traditional impressions but also allows for real-time adjustments and precise treatment planning.

3. In-House 3D Printing

Our in-house lab, equipped with advanced 3D printers, enables us to fabricate high-quality retainers and, in some cases, aligners. This capability not only improves workflow and efficiency but also reduces turnaround times and costs.

4. Dental Monitoring via App

The Dental Monitoring app is a game-changer for our Invisalign® patients. It allows us to monitor treatment progress remotely, leading to fewer in-office visits and quicker identification and resolution of any issues.

5. Bespoke Braces with LightForce™

As the first office in Canada to offer LightForce™ Braces, a 3D printed custom bracket system, we provide personalized treatment that perfectly aligns with each patient’s unique dental anatomy.

6. Digital X-Rays

Utilizing digital x-rays ensures enhanced image quality, immediate viewing, and significantly reduced radiation exposure compared to traditional film x-rays.

7. Temporary Anchorage Device (TAD)

TADs are a minimal-invasive option for complex cases, reducing the need for elastics, closing spaces more efficiently, and sometimes even eliminating the need for certain oral surgeries.
